Habitat Management
The Woodcock Conservancy's first priority is habitat creation. Due to the increase in residency
of the American Woodcock in the Northeast region, we consult with landowners to educate them on
the species and their habitat needs. Our goal is
to increase habitat creation through landowner
and public cooperation.

PROJECTS
Migratory Research
The Woodcock Conservancy has a long-standing relationship with environmental agencies that are dedicated to increasing the population of the American Woodcock. We work very closely
with agencies to track the migration of the species.
We travel from Maine to Virginia to monitor the population and health of the Woodcock. Fall and Spring migrations are also closely monitored.
